In the footsteps of ski pioneers and stars.

With the new Flexenbahn, which opened in the 2016/17 season, an impressive ski circuit has emerged, dedicated to the ski stars of the Arlberg. The “Run of Fame” offers not only 85 kilometres of ski runs but also an incredible 18,000 metres of elevation gain, taking your skiing enjoyment to a new level. This well-marked ski circuit leads winter sports enthusiasts from Warth-Schröcken, starting at the Dorfbahn Warth, over the Arlberg to St. Anton, showcasing the full beauty of the interconnected ski area – from Warth in the north via Saloberkopf to Lech Zürs, and then back to St. Anton/Rendl in the south.

Average winter sports enthusiasts will need a full day to complete the Run of Fame. Entry is possible from almost any point in the ski area. Simply follow the Run of Fame symbols on the piste signage. A handy folder with further information is available at the ski lifts and many tourist offices.

Important Note: The last operational ride of the Auenfeldjet is at 4:00 PM. After this time, it is no longer possible to return on skis!

Run of Fame tracking.

For those who wish to take on the challenge of the RUN of FAME, the practical Ski Arlberg app allows you to complete the three checkpoints in the HALL of FAME in Zürs, as well as at the start/finish points in Warth (bottom station of the Dorfbahn) and in St. Anton (top station of the Rifflbahn II or I).

Upon successful completion of this spectacular ski circuit, participants can look forward to a personal gift in the HALL of FAME: a unique ski pin as a badge of honour. This pin serves as a testament to conquering the longest ski circuit in the Alps and can be proudly worn on your ski pole. For those who wish to repeat the challenge annually, there is a new design for the ski pole collection – a motivating way to continually remember the adventures experienced.

The ski pin can be collected directly in the HALL of FAME using the app at the ski pin vending machine. To redeem your reward, simply go to the “Tracking” tab in the Ski Arlberg app > “Arlberg Challenges” > “RUN of FAME” and select “RUN of FAME completed.”

IMPORTANT for collection: Please ensure that GPS tracking is enabled to successfully complete your challenge and receive your gift.
