Hiking trail

From the Hochtannbergpass over the Salobersattel to the Auenfelderhütte and back over the Körbersee

From the Hochtannberg you hike comfortably up to the Salobersattel. Once you have reached the Salobersattel, you should take a short breath and before you go down towards the Auenfelder Hütte, take a deep breath. Look at the wonderfully juicy meadows on your descent to the hut. Would you like to take a little break? No problem, enjoy the snack specialities of the Auenfelder Hütte on the sun terrace or in the rustic inn. Strengthened, it goes slightly downhill again towards Auenfelderalpe, where the cows graze. A narrow footpath now takes you to the natural jewel Körbersee. The pleasant silence at the Körbersee will enchant you, so that you don’t just want to hike past here. Why don’t you stop by the Berghotel Körbersee for a drink? Now the path goes upwards towards Hochtannbergpass to Kalbelesee and back to the parking lot.
