Our route starts with an E-bike ride from Schröcken via the Batzenalpe and the Auenfeldsattel to the starting point of our mountain tour, the Untere Gaisbühelalpe at 1,777 meters altitude. The Juppenspitze, often referred to as the most beautiful and secluded mountain, is rarely climbed, mainly because the path is not marked on hiking maps.
Our ascent leads us over the Obere Gaisbühelalpe, through steep, pathless meadows, until we reach a scree slope and continue to ascend to the col. Through rocky but well-marked terrain, we finally reach the summit cross, from where we can enjoy a breathtaking view of Schröcken with the Körbersee and Hochtannbergpass. The descent follows the same route.
After our mountain tour, we ride our E-bikes via Oberlech to Lech. A short stretch on the road towards Warth before branching off at the quarry to the oldest Walser settlement "Bürstegg". From Bürstegg, a short, steep trail, requiring balance and skill, leads us. The reward follows with a delightful descent over the Auenfeldsattel to the Untere Auenfeldalpe. Along the young Bregenzerach, we return through the picturesque Auenfeld back to Schröcken.
